kathryn price theatana - editor, webcrafter, design

paul pigman - alpha geek, magic computer guy, technical advisor

Unless otherwise noted, all text, graphics, and photos are copyright ©kathryn price theatana / katharsis ink., and/or paul pigman / badger productions, and/or flaming crones, and/or big electric celt productions. All rights reserved. Not to be reproduced in any form, in whole or in part, without the express written permission of the artists/authors.

Violators of this sacred agreement will be set upon and torn to bits by fierce astral weasels. And by their this-plane counterparts, and their very scary creepy friends, who are so fearsome that their names dare not even be spoken, lest this naming of them invoke their ferocious presence... and then Goddesses help you if you don't know how to calm them down. Or what to feed them. Or what language(s) they speak. Or any number of arcane and perilous tasks which must be performed to keep them from wreaking their hideous vengeance upon you and yours. There. We've warned you.

What this means to those of you who tend to steal text and graphics for your own pages or listserves, is: if you like something you find on this site and want people to know about it --DON'T just copy it. That is illegal, unethical, mean, and BAD KARMA. Stealing from struggling artists in not the same as ripping off bloated corporations - it is an ethical offense against people who are usually poor to start with and need all the support they can get (like us). The graphics on this site are protected by a digital watermarking service that scans the web and alerts us to any unauthorized use of our material (as well as by the above-mentioned Otherworldly Powers). And all it takes is a simple Google search on a sentence or two to find stolen text. We also have some new software that has already caught some plagiarists and text-stealers (and led to their YahooGroups and e-mail accounts being shut down). If you haven't figured it out yet, we are very serious about copyright issues.

A Self-Inflicted Curse Falls Upon All Plagiarists

BUT, if you like our stuff and want others to see it, what you can do is put a link on your page, or in your post to a listserve, so people can come here and see it for themselves. That would be great. We like that. And if we like your site, we'll link to you. That way everyone is happy and the astral weasels can take a nap instead of ripping your flesh.

We now have a banner (actually, a choice of banners) for you to download onto your own site, if you so desire; you can use that, or a text link, to link to our website. And you can make an immediate link from here to your site by simply logging it into our guestbook. And leave a nice message, too, sort of a two-level effect with a path down the middle... (“A path! A path!”).

There. Glad we got that settled. Keep your karma clean and we'll be the best of friends.

By the bounteous but wrathful Goddesses of the Arts,

The Artists and Authors of Moonstone /I\

On January 20, 2000, it came to our attention that we had unknowingly violated our own copyright policy (!). (THE KARMA! THE KARMA! THE SCREAMING WEASELS! AAAAGH!!!) Apparently, the webcrafter for the Celtic Heritage Webring had provided us with a graphic which he did not have permission to use or reproduce. The graphic, of the Welsh Dragon and Stonehenge, is by the talented artist Jen Delyth. Jen owns the copyright to this image (Megalith copyright ©1992 Jen Delyth), and members of the webring, and other webcrafters, have no right to use it without her express written permission. I extend my sincerest apologies to Jen for this copyright violation.

Please visit Jen's website for more of her lovely Celtic artwork:

Keltic Designs featuring original artwork by Welsh artist Jen Delyth

(And by the way, it's not a free graphics site, so don't "borrow" any of the images on her site or in her catalogue. How about supporting her talent and buying some of her cool stuff, o.k.? Thank you. We now return to our regularly-scheduled programming.)

(Links to the sites of graphics providers can be found on our links page.)
